27. Minutes of Crowton Parish Council Meeting12/01/21 7.15pm Via Zoom 117. Apologies Councillor Oultram, Councillor Miller, Councillor Rutter, Councillor Holloway and Councillor E Stubbs sent their apologies. 118. Present Councillor Lessells, Councillor Thorne and Councillor R Stubbs attended the meeting along with Cheshire West & Chester Councillor Fifield. 119. Declarations of Interest No declarations of Interests were made 120. Approval of the Minutes of Crowton Parish Council Meeting of 08/12/20 The above Minutes were approved 121. Matters arising from the Minutes of Crowton Parish Council Meeting of 08/12/20 (i) Councillor Fifield agreed to take forward the matter of illegal tipping in the village (ii) Parish Clerk Vacancy has been advertised on Find A Job and Cheshire West & Chester Council website along with being circulated to local Parish Clerks via Cheshire Association of Local Council Clerks, the closing date for applications is 31/01/21. Councillor R Stubbs agreed to put this on Facebook. (iii) More fly tipping has been discovered in the village, Councillor Stubbs to forward information to Councillor Fifield for him to take this matter forward following lack of interest by Cheshire West & Chester Council and Cheshire Police. (iv). Clerk provided members with cost of installing dog waste bins in the village, the Council agreed for Councillor Thorne to install signs prior to the Council purchasing these bins as it is not certain that dog walkers will use them 122. Planning Applications 20/04730/FUL Cattle Chains Kingsley Road 1st floor front extension – no objection 28. 123. Correspondence (i) Letter received from Scottish Power informing Council that previous invoice has not been paid. This invoice has been paid and clerk has provided them with cheque number. (ii) Letter received regarding the telephone box from Jenny Currie, the Council agreed that the notice board can be removed and replaced with shelving. The Council are not happy for toys to be placed in this box at this time. Clerk to inform her that she would work in liaison with the other ladies in the village who are kindly looking after the telephone box. 124. Accounts (i) Mrs E Stubbs Christmas Tree £33.60 approved for payment (ii) Scottish Power electricity £98.03 approved for payment (iii) Mrs J Lessells Plants £17.98 approved for payment (iv) Council was given a financial appraisal up to 31/03/21. The Council agreed their budget for 2021/2022 and agreed to apply for a precept of £8120.00 for the forthcoming year. 125. Village Issues Clerk to chase Cheshire West & Chester Council regarding fly tipping at Bent Lane which has still not been cleared. Clerk to ask Cheshire PCSO to attend village with speed camera on Station Road. The Meeting Finished at 8.10pm Signed Chairman Crowton Parish Council
